[do you support reducing defense spending?] We don't need any more aircraft carriers, but it may be necessary to build another one to stimulate the economy. [do you support reducing Medicaid spending?do you support reducing Medicare spending?] I want to replace medicare and medicaid with national health services available to all Americans. [Is balancing the budget an administrative priority?] Not until the country is at at or near full employment.
I support spending that would increase jobs.
I propose return to the 1965 Kennedy/Johnson tax code for all Americans with taxable income below $25 million. A 75% bracket for income $25-$50 million and an 80% bracket for all those over $50 million.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Studies by academic economist show that each execution saves 3-15 lives. The death penalty is barbaric and discriminates against the poor and people of color. But 1st degree murder is [illegible] and discriminatory.

[Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?] Depends on the regulation [Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?] Unsure Research and in the field trials of ways to geoengineer the cooling of the earth is badly needed. We geoengineer the warming of the earth daily.
No Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?
No Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
[Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?] Withdrawal should be immediate. The root cause of 9/11 and the subsequent wars is Iraq and Afghanistan has been our continuing vetoes of sanctions against Israel in the U.N. Unless and until that policy changes, Israel will continue to violate the U.N charter at will; the Palestinian people will remain occupied, oppressed and discriminated against, and there will be wars between the U.S and Muslim nations. We are clearly hurtling toward war with Iran that can be prevented by changing our policies..
No Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
I'm willing to do battle with the For Profit Heath Care lobby, the low tax lobby, and the Israel lobby. I can't afford a battle with the very powerful gun lobby.
Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
I support repeal of the 2010 Affordable Care Act if and when we enact, create, and fund a national health service for all Americans. There is plenty of money in the treasury [illegible] of medicare/medicaid to fund such a service like the British Rowe. Americans pay 2-4 times what the British pay for health care!
No Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
No Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
Yes Do you support same-sex marriage?
No Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
#1. Take the money now earmarked for medicare/medicaid and use it for a national health service to provide care to all Americans #2. Re-adopt 1965 tax code for all taxpayers with a taxable income under $25 million. Use the revenue for infrastructure renewable that would return us to full employment. However 1965 taxes cannot be applied to the middle class until the medical premiums tax is eliminated by implementing a national health service. #3. Work through the United Nations to transform Israel from the Sparta that it is into the Athens it can and must become.
